Background legislation to NSWQB personnel administration include:
Permanent staff are recruited by open public competition. The conditions of service are currently guided by the NSWQB’s employee handbook. The NSWQB, as an employer, is committed to a policy of encouraging equal opportunity and diversity in the workplace.
The Nominated Health Agencies Superannuation scheme and associated Spouses' and Children's Pensions are administered for employees of the NSWQB.
The NSWQB works towards ensuring full compliance with legislation in relation to securing the safety, health and welfare of its employees and for protecting others against risks to safety and health in connection with the board's activities.
