Committee on Non-national Qualifications
The Committee on Non-National Qualifications assesses and makes recommendations on applications for accreditation, as required by Board policy. It also develops and refines procedures and criteria in this regard and advises the Board on this and any other issues relevant to non-national qualifications.
Terms of reference
- To develop procedures and criteria for accreditation of holders of non-national qualifications
- To advise the Board in relation to induction of holders of non-national qualifications into Irish social work
- To advise the Board on any other issues relating to non-national qualifications
- To advise the Board on the boundaries and overlaps between social work and cognate disciplines such as childcare and youth and community work.
